HIMALAYAN ESCAPE: 8 DAYS IN NORTH SIKKIM & DARJEELING

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT NEW JALPAIGURI — BAGDOGRA — TRANSFER TO GANGTOK
Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. Meet our representative and drive to Gangtok. Check-in to your hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Gangtok.

DAY 2: EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR
Enjoy a half-day tour to the glacial Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet) and the sacred Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Evening free for shopping and local exploration. Overnight in Gangtok.

DAY 3: GANGTOK — LACHEN VIA SCENIC WATERFALLS
Drive to Lachen (8,950 feet) via Mangan and Chungthang. En route, stop at Naga Falls, Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Falls. Lunch en route. Evening arrival in Lachen. Overnight stay.

DAY 4: LACHEN — GURUDONGMAR LAKE — LACHUNG
Early morning visit to Gurudongmar Lake (17,000 feet), one of the world’s highest and holiest lakes. On return, pass through Chopta Valley. Post lunch in Lachen, transfer to Lachung. Overnight stay.

DAY 5: LACHUNG — YUMTHANG VALLEY — GANGTOK
Visit the Yumthang Valley (11,800 feet), famous for its blooms and hot springs. Optional trip to Zero Point (extra cost). After lunch in Lachung, drive back to Gangtok. Overnight stay.

DAY 6: GANGTOK TO DARJEELING TRANSFER
Post breakfast, proceed to Darjeeling. Check-in to your hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight in Darjeeling.

DAY 7: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING AND TIGER HILL SUNRISE
Before dawn, visit Tiger Hill for a majestic sunrise over Kanchenjunga. On return, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Later, enjoy local sights including the zoo, HMI, ropeway and more. Overnight stay.

DAY 8: DEPARTURE TO NEW JALPAIGURI / BAGDOGRA
After breakfast, transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. Tour ends with wonderful memories.
