DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN VARANASI (INDIA)
- Arrive in Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi and transfer to the hotel.
- Check-in and lunch at the hotel.
- Afternoon visit to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Explore the Dhamek Stupa and Sarnath Archaeological Museum.
- In the evening, witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti ceremony on the banks of the Ganges River.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 02: VARANASI — LUMBINI (NEPAL)
- After breakfast, depart by road for Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha (Note: Please ensure you have a double/multiple-entry visa for India).
- Lunch will be provided en route at a local restaurant.
- Upon arrival in Lumbini, check in at the hotel.
- Visit the Ashoka Pillar, Holy Pond and Maya Devi Temple.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Lumbini.
DAY 03: LUMBINI — SRAVASTI
- After breakfast, explore the Kapilavastu ruins, the childhood home of Siddhartha Gautama.
- Early lunch or packed lunch provided.
- Drive to Sravasti, where Buddha spent many rainy seasons preaching and performing miracles.
- Visit the Jetavana Monastery, Anandabodhi Tree, Sahet-Mahet ruins and the Angulimala Caves.
- Check-in at the hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Sravasti.
DAY 04: SRAVASTI — KUSHINAGAR
- After breakfast, proceed to Kushinagar, the place of Buddha’s Mahaparinirvana.
- Check in and lunch at the hotel.
- Visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple, Rambhar Stupa and Matha Kuar Shrine.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Kushinagar.
DAY 05: KUSHINAGAR — VAISHALI — RAJGIR
- Post breakfast, drive to Rajgir.
- En route, stop at Vaishali, where Lord Buddha preached his last sermon. Visit the Ashokan Pillar and Relic Stupa.
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- Continue to Rajgir, check in at the hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Rajgir.
DAY 06: RAJGIR — BODHGAYA
- Morning sightseeing in Rajgir, including Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture's Peak) and Venuvana, a bamboo grove gifted to Buddha.
- Visit the ruins of Nalanda University, once a great center of Buddhist learning.
- Return to the hotel for lunch.
- Drive to Bodhgaya, the site of Buddha’s enlightenment.
- Evening visit to Sujata Village, Niranjana River and the sacred Mahabodhi Temple.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Bodhgaya.
DAY 07: BODHGAYA — DUNGESHWARI — VARANASI
- Morning visit to Dungeshwari Caves, where Buddha meditated before his enlightenment.
- Return to the hotel in Bodhgaya for lunch.
- Later, drive to Varanasi.
- On arrival, check in at the hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.
DAY 08: VARANASI — DEPARTURE
- After an early breakfast, transfer to the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi for your onward journey.
