DAY 1: ARRIVE GAYA — BODHGAYA
- Meet and greet upon arrival at Bodh Gaya International Airport.
- Transfer to hotel in Bodhgaya and check-in.
- Enjoy lunch at the hotel.
- Later, visit the Mahabodhi Temple and Bodhi Tree, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.
- Return to hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Bodhgaya.
DAY 2: BODHGAYA — DUNGESHWARI — BODHGAYA
- After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to the Dungeshwari Caves:
- Visit the cave enshrining the Fasting Buddha — A golden emaciated statue symbolizing his period of penance.
- Explore another cave that houses a 6-foot statue of Lord Buddha.
- Return to the hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Bodhgaya.
DAY 3: BODHGAYA — RAJGIR — NALANDA — PATNA
- Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
- Drive to Patna via Rajgir and Nalanda:
- In Rajgir, visit Vulture’s Peak (Gridhkuta), Venuvana Vihara and Bimbisara Jail.
- Post-lunch, explore the ruins of Nalanda University, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Continue drive to Patna. Check in at hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Patna.
DAY 4: PATNA — VAISHALI — KUSHINAGAR
- After breakfast, depart for Kushinagar via Vaishali.
- En route visit the Ashokan Pillar and Relic Stupa in Vaishali.
- Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
- Continue the drive to Kushinagar.
- Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.
- Time permitting, visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple and Rambhar Stupa or schedule for the next morning.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Kushinagar.
DAY 5: KUSHINAGAR — LUMBINI
- Breakfast at the hotel, then proceed to Lumbini (Nepal) — The birthplace of Lord Buddha.
- Check-in at the hotel.
- Visit Maya Devi Temple, Ashokan Pillar, Holy Pond and Sala Tree.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Lumbini.
DAY 6: LUMBINI — VARANASI
- Post breakfast, depart for Varanasi.
- Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.
- Visit the Sarnath Museum (closed on Fridays).
- Dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.
DAY 7: VARANASI — DEPARTURE
- Early morning boat ride on the River Ganges and experience sunrise.
- Visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
- Return to hotel for breakfast.
- After lunch (or with packed lunch), transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
- End of tour.
