DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HO CHI MINH CITY (D)
Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival, meet your TripVI's tour guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy a welcome dinner and prepare for the journey of a lifetime.
OPTIONAL: Early arrivals can enjoy a stroll through the vibrant streets of Saigon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 2: SAIGON CITY SIGHTS & STORIES (B, D)
- Discover French colonial architecture: Opera House, City Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral & Central Post Office.
- Meet a local legend — the 70-year-old letter writer (subject to availability).
- Visit the Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum.
- Explore Chinatown and Thien Hau Temple.
- Browse and bargain at bustling Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 3: MYSTIC MEKONG ADVENTURE (B, L)
- Day trip to My Tho & Thoi Son (Unicorn Island) in the Mekong Delta.
- Boat rides, honey tea, coconut candy workshop, traditional music, and horse-drawn carriage ride.
- Local Mekong lunch with crispy Elephant Ear Fish & sticky rice ball.
- Optional cycling through rice paddies and village paths. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 4: COASTAL ESCAPE TO NHA TRANG (B, D)
- After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a short domestic flight to Nha Trang – Vietnam’s premier beach destination known for its turquoise waters and vibrant marine life.
- Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Take some time to relax or explore the city’s laid-back charm.
- In the afternoon, visit the scenic Hon Chong Promontory, where massive boulders stack naturally against the crashing sea, creating a peaceful retreat with spectacular ocean views. Continue to the ancient Po Nagar Cham Towers, a spiritual site dedicated to the goddess Yan Po Nagar.
- End your day with a delicious seafood dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Nha Trang.
DAY 5–6: LEISURE BY THE SEA (B, D)
- Free days to swim, relax, or explore Nha Trang’s attractions.
- Each evening, delight in local cuisine at handpicked restaurants. Overnight in Nha Trang.
DAY 7: FROM NHA TRANG TO HOI AN VIA DA NANG (B, D)
- Fly to Da Nang. Visit Marble Mountains and Linh Ung Pagoda.
- Scenic drive to Hoi An Ancient Town. Explore Japanese Covered Bridge, ancient houses, and lantern-lit streets. Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 8: RURAL LIFE AT TRA QUE & JOURNEY TO HUE (B, L)
- Farm experience in Tra Que Village: gardening, cooking, and foot massage.
- Afternoon drive to Hue via Hai Van Pass & Lang Co Beach. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 9: ECHOES OF WAR — DMZ & VINH MOC TUNNELS (B, D)
- Explore war history at Quang Tri, Hien Luong Bridge, Khe Sanh & Vinh Moc Tunnels.
- Evening train journey to Hanoi. Overnight onboard the sleeper train.
DAY 10: HA LONG GETAWAY (B, D)
- Morning arrival in Hanoi. Freshen up & breakfast.
- Depart for Ha Long City through the Red River Delta. Overnight in Ha Long.
DAY 11: HA LONG BAY CRUISE & HANOI CHARM (B, L, D)
- Cruise through Ha Long Bay — limestone islets, Thien Cung Cave, and scenic views.
- Return to Hanoi for a traditional Water Puppet Show. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 12: HANOI CITY TOUR & DEPARTURE (B, L)
- Visit Temple of Literature, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, and the Ethnology Museum.
- Explore Hanoi’s Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. Transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure.
